He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stout and Virginia Stout (Howard); his brother Eddie Stout; his nephews, Timmy Stout and Lance Fisk; and his stepson Joshua Moss.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores M. Vandusen; his son Randall Stout of La Porte; his stepchildren, Larry Moss (Kristin) of Union Mills, Shannon Vandusen of La Porte and Rebecca Cole of La Porte; and his siblings, Dick Stout (Debbie) of Kingsford Heights, Brad Stout (Lisa) of Austin, MN, Susie Nehl of Union Mills, Loretta Ake of La Porte, Barb Stout of Stillwell and Becky Stout of Hamlet. He is also survived by 7 stepgrandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren.
