He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Owen; his daughters, Michelle Urness and Kathryn Brew; his grandchildren, Alana Urness, Claire Urness-Marks, Austin Malstaff and Katelyn Brew; and his sisters, Etta Mae Hannon (Bill) and Roselind Lane.
