He is survived by: his wife Rosemary J. Manuel; his children, Jimmie Manuel, Jr. (Alicia) and Nancy Lara (John); his grandchildren, James, Daniel (Leslie), Marcelina Manuel, Anthony (Crystal) and Marc Lara; his great grandchildren, Sean, Wyatt Lara and Oliver Manuel; his sisters, Mabel Green (late Jerry) and Brenda Jay (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Manship (Bev) and Ann Carlson (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
