She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Graham Hawkins and Rachael Chiddister (Snook); her husband James Arthur Blacker; her daughter Lori Carden; and her brothers, James Hawkins, Frank Hawkins and Edward Hawkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Mitchell (Randy) of Hamlet; her grandchildren, James Alan Williams, Clay James Mitchell and Shaun Lucas Mitchell; and her sister Dawn Marie Aumiller of Union Mills.
