He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nolan Gahret, Clara Hart, Forrest and Alice Spain; his aunts, Elizabeth Yaney, Judith Worthen, Linda Mann, Juanita Quinn and Patricia Worthen; and his uncle Butch Gahret.

He is survived by: his parents, James Gahret and Mary Gahret (Spain); his brother Joshua Gahret; and his children, Andrew Gahret, Jr., Preston Gahret and Cinsearay Gahret. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
