He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Oles and Inis M. Oles (Robbins); his wife Margaret Oles (Smallwood); his children, Don Kirkpatrick, William Oles and Mary Rigsby; his grandsons, Eric Todd Rigsby, Donnie Kirkpatrick, Doug Kirkpatrick and Tony Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Oles and Earl Oles.
He is survived by: his son Leon Kirkpatrick (Marlene) of Underwood, IN; and his grandchildren, Sharon Parker, Billy Kirkpatrick, Chelita Walters, Michael Rigsby, Michele Douglas, Melissa Sheehan, Kathy Jarboe and Lori Gant.
