It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Roger Nichols of Underwood, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester E. Nichols and Marie Nichols (Craig); his son Jack Nichols; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Moon and Skip Udell.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Mullins (Lenny) of Caneyville, Kentucky; his close friend Paula Berry of Underwood; his siblings, Clara Marie Moon of Scottsburg, Carol Udell of Little York, Joyce Holder (William) of Marysville and William "Bill" Nichols (Barb) of Scottsburg; his grandchildren, Zach Mullins (Brooklyn) of Caneyville and Katie Mullins of Caneyville; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn Mullins, Kylee Mullins, Kohen Mullins and Jackson Strader.
His family requests memorial contributions be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
