He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Porter, Sr. and June Porter (Colwell). He is survived by: his son Bobby Porter of Underwood, Indiana; and his siblings, David Porter (Loretta) of Stinnett, Manuel Porter, Jr. of Austin, John Wayne Porter (Kim) of Greenwood, Indiana, Phyllis Jean Bowling of Scottsburg, Diana Clark (Dave) of Scottsburg, Debra Kaye Turner (Walter) of Scottsburg and Helen Sue Helton (Donald) of Lexington, Indiana. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
