He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Roger and Freida Maxine Moon (Bookwalter); and his brothers, Onis Moon and Everett Moon. He is survived by: his wife Mimi Moon; his children, Patricia McGuire (Ed) and Pascal Moon (Beth); his grandchildren, Blake Moon (Raine), Hayden Tomlinson, Sydney Moon, Riley McGuire and Macy; his great grandchild Oliver Russo; his sister Carmen Sue Carter; and his sister-in-law LaVerne Hartzler Moon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Cemetery.
