He is survived by: his brother Jack Rans (Pam) of Indianapolis; his grandsons, Jameson Rans of Muncie and Jonathon Rans of Monticello; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Hunter (Aaron), Jacqueline Savage (Jeff), Jessica Rans and Jennifer Shafer (Dan); and his close friend Donna O'Berg.
