It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett A. Moon of Twelve Mile, Indiana, born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendall Moon and Freda Moon (Bookwalter); his former wife Judith Elkins Moon; and his brother Onis Moon. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Hartzler Moon; his children, Sheryl Baird (Jim), Richard "Rick" Moon (Heidi), Susan Hartzler and Kim Mader (Mark); his siblings, Jerry Moon (Mimi) and Carmen Sue Carter (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Natalie Crane, Grayson Garber and Griffin Crane.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Twelve Mile First Responders or Skinner Church.
