He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett McVay and Thelma McVay; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Thelma Sullivan; his sisters, Carolyn Spittler, Virginia Niman and Faye Milligan; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Miller and Bill Gulley.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Ann McVay; his children, Diana McVay, Catherine Calisto (Chris) and Phillip McVay (Barbara); his grandchildren, Erik McVay, Natasha Calisto, Drew, Rian McVay, Colton Valenta, Kendra McVay, Carington Calisto, Audree McVay and Caydence Calisto; his great grandchild Brielle McVay; and his siblings, Wayne McVay (Reggie), Marvin McVay (Terry), Lyle McVay (Madie), Poplar Bluff, Roger McVay, Anita Miller, Linda Gulley, Ill and Connie Davis (Robin).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Twelve Mile Community Building.
