He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Brown and Gladys Brown (Morris); his wife Patty A. Brown (Williams); and his brother Don Brown. He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Brown, Jr. of Tell City and Tracy Brown, Sr. of Tell City; his sisters, Shirley Lindauer of Tell City and Linda Alvey of Tell City; and his grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Cody Brown, Tracy Brown, Jr., Robbie Brown and Sydney Brown. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
