With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Fortwendel of Troy, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Howe and Olive Howe (Goffinet); her husband Cletus Fortwendel Sr.; and her brother Conrad Howe. She is survived by: her children, Cletus Fortwendel Jr. (Sarah), Jerry Fortwendel (Susie), Tony Fortwendel (Angie), Annette Doherty (Kevin), Martha Cutrell (Randy) and Tim Fortwendel (Sherri); and her grandchildren, Kevin Fortwendel, Amy Carter (Jeff), Philip Fortwendel (Hannah), Steve Fortwendel (Tasa), Ryan Fortwendel (Jake), Trevor Traphagen (Dusty), Corey Fortwendel (Kara) and Jalynn Fortwendel.
