He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor H. Singer and Edith Singer (Pence); his sister Emma Jane Ross; his stepsister Margie Goble (Larry); his brother-in-law Terry Ross; his parents-in-law, Howard "Mike" Michel and Louise Wohlford (Michel); his brother-in-law Dale L. Carroll; and his nephew Scott Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna A. Michel; his son Bart Singer (Leslie); his grandchildren, Austin and Savanah; his brother Wayne Singer (Dorothy) of North Manchester; his sisters-in-law, Catherine "Kaye" Hoch (Larry) of Fort Wayne and Norma Carroll of Roanoke; and his stepsiblings, Esther Lancaster (Ron) of Huntsville, AL and Dick Wohlford (Carole) of Angola.
