He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith; his son Gregory Murphy; his granddaughters, Galeana Murphy and Gerica Murphy; his great grandchild Daxton Kyle of Columbia City; and his siblings, Tyrone Murphy (Candi) of Columbia City and Fawn Murphy of Fort Wayne.
