Carolyn Jean Beard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 87, Carolyn Jean Beard of Tri Lakes, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carolyn Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Meredith Keppler and Margaret E. Keppler (Lawrence); her son Kent Beard; and her great grandchild Taylor McIntosh. She is survived by: her husband James Eugene Beard; her daughters, Shelley McIntosh (Alger) of Columbia City and Tina Brown (Richard) of Huntington; and her sister Constance Grant (James) of Culver.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tri-Lakes Baptist Church (5679 N Center St, Columbia City, IN 46725).
