With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Pressel of Trail Creek, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Pressel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Pressel and Anna Pressel (Bridegroom); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Pressel and Jim Kreag. He is survived by: his wife Loretta E. Morgan; his children, Eric Pressel of La Porte, Andrea Wiley (John) of Fayetteville and Tracy Hayter (Kevin) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Tori Hayter of La Porte, Luke Hayter (Victoria) of La Porte and April Minix of Fayetteville; his great grandchild Mackinley of La Porte; his siblings, Robert Pressel of Union Mills and Margaret Kreag of Peru; and his stepchildren, Pamela Oberholtzer of Temple Georgia, Perry Oberholtzer (Rosie) of Walkerton, Scott Oberholtzer (Diane) of Michigan City, Rebecca Funk (William) of Flagstaff and Charles Morgan (Heidi) of Michigan City. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Chapel Cemetery (2802 E State Rd 4, La Porte, IN 46350).
