It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J Benjamin of Trail Creek, Indiana, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ronald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ronald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Benjamin and Lean V. Benjamin (Johnston); and his sisters, Joann, Edith and Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Samuelson Benjamin; his children, Judy Liskey (Norm) and Jerome Benjamin (Anita); and his brother David Benjamin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Root Funeral Home (312 E 7th St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
