He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Butts and Minnie Belle Butts (Hendrickson); his wife Diana Spears; and his siblings, Richard Butts, Lucille Krueger, Dorothy Conway and Vivian Bentley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Skonieczny (Fricke) and Melissa Butts (Radcliff); and his grandchildren, Jacob Robert Radcliff, Morgan Elizabeth Skonieczny and Danielle Diana Fricke. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephes and friends.
