Richard J. Dolezal Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Dolezal of Trail Creek, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald "Jerry" Dolezal and Dorothy Dolezal (Southard); his stepmother June Henry McIntyre Dolezal; his brother Jay Dolezal; and his stepsiblings, Nancy Schlundt and Thomas McIntyre.
He is survived by: his sister Sharon Dolezal of Mishawaka, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Patricia Dolezal of Bartlett, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel (418 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (1506 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360).
