He was predeceased by: his parents, William Westphal and Catherine Westphal (Weaver); and his brothers, Lee and William Westphal. He is survived by: his wife Joan Warn; his children, Joy Walden of Michigan City, IN, Daryl Westphal (Sharon), Darren Westphal (Elizabeth) of Michigan City, IN, Neil Westphal (Shawntel) of La Porte, IN and Patrick Beach (Michele) of Mishawaka, IN; and his best-friend Al Ladd of Michigan City, IN.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
