He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Shelton and Daisy Shelton (Mathis); his wife Margie Shelton; his brothers, Norman Shelton, Bobby Shelton and Denny Shelton; and his brother-in-law Charlie Crecilius.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianna Maschmeyer (Jim) of Beech Grove, IN, Lisa Rhoades (Gary) of Trafalgar, IN and Shelly Meyer (Dave) of Franklin, IN; his grandchildren, Jennifer "Sugar" Shortt, Sam Meyer, Lucy Meyer and Doug Beadle; his great grandchildren, Daelin Morton, Amiah Phelps (David) and Deanna Morton; his great great grandchild Noah Kelley; his siblings, Don Shelton (Marie) of Washington, IN, Junior Shelton (Candy) of Franklin, IN, Jerry Shelton (Julie) of California, Susie Crecilius of Greenwood, IN and Betty Ziemer (Donald) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Hazel Shelton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
