He was predeceased by: his father Basil C. Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Nellie M. Hicks (Gill); his wife Annette; his son Joseph Hicks of Trafalgar; his brothers, Kenneth Hicks (Jennifer) of Linton and Robert Hicks of San Antonio, TX; his nieces, Megan Gripshover, Sarah Rathburn and Addie Whitaker; and his nephew Michael Hicks.
