He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Whitaker and Lucille Parkhurst Whitaker; and his siblings, Patricia Bundy and Jimmy Dale Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Whitaker; his daughter Dawn Whitaker; his son-in-law Manuel Contreras; and his grandchildren, Michael Kean, Nykasa Smith, Rachelle Mirae Whitaker, Marisa Whitaker, Jadyn Suraya Whitaker and Jesse Contreras.
