Omer Ira Sisson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Omer Ira Sisson of Trafalgar, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sisson and Jetta Sisson (Parker); his wife Lois Sisson (Ashley); and his siblings, Glen, Don, Ralph, Bill Sisson, Thelma Arnold, Dortha Thompson and Mildred Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Sisson (Elaine) of Trafalgar, IN and Janet Esteb (David) of Franklin, IN; his grandchildren, Brent Sisson (Kelly) of Trafalgar, IN, Ginnie York (Jason) of Franklin, IN, Brian Esteb (Melissa) of Franklin, IN, Brad Sisson (Ashley) of Bargersville, IN and Jill Hockemeyer (Chad) of Columbia City, IN; his stepgrandson Brett Reigel (Becca) of Homer, IN; his great grandchildren, Peyton Sisson, Parker Sisson, Cody York, Hunter York, Catelynn Hockemeyer, Cortney Hockemeyer and Maverick Sisson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Samantha Reigal, Mariah Reigal, Sara Reigal and Trey Reigal; and his brother Charles Sisson of Greenwood, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 Mandates, the Reverend Doug Bohall will conduct a private family service on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2PM and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at http://www.swartzmortuary.com.
