It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olis Popplewell of Trafalgar, Indiana, born in Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocus D. Popplewell and Lillian Lois Popplewell (Wilson); and his siblings, Karen Baird, Deborah Popplewell and Jonathan "J. D.".
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Popplewell (Skirvin); his siblings, Lillian Ann Pogue (David) of Nineveh and Mackel "Mack" Popplewell (Carla) of Trafalgar; and his stepchildren, Bernard Carl Spalding (Starla) of Petersburg, Denitra Ruth Simpkins of Washington, Trent David Spalding (Jordan) of Indianapolis, Brian Spalding (Rachel) of Evansville and Chris Spalding of Washington.
