She was predeceased by: her father Vern Vandivier; her former husband James Marshall Key; her husband Joseph Albert Ray Jr.; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Key; her granddaughter Teresa Vanzant; and her brother Meredith Vandivier.
She is survived by: her children, Larry D. Key (Lora) of Martinsville, Marshall W. Key of Trafalgar, Janet Vanzant (Larry) of Trafalgar and Michael Key (Vonda) of Trafalgar; and her grandchildren, Bryan Key, Sherrie Martin (John), Susan Bush (Arden), Shelly Woodall (Tony), Lisa Nevins (Rodney), Amy Payton (Brad), Donna Rector and Curtis Wood. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
