It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Newton of Trafalgar, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Newton and Catherine Newton (Hall); his granddaughter Melissa S. Tucker (Armstrong); his brother Donald Newton; his brother-in-law John Welborn; and his nephews, Ryan Welborn and Scott Oldham.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Newton (Hazel) of Trafalgar, IN; his children, Katy A. Armstrong (Mark) of Franklin, IN and David L. Newton Jr. (Debbie G.) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, James Armstrong (Andrea) of Trafalgar, IN, Elizabeth "Liz" Sims of Franklin, IN, Robert David Newton (Nicole) of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin Ryan Newton of Murfreesboro, TN, Adam Russell Newton of Murfreesboro, TN and Rachel Nicole Newton of Murfreesboro, TN; his great grandchildren, Haley McAlpin of Panama City, FL, Evan Stafford of Franklin, IN, Erica Stafford of Franklin, IN, Charlee Armstrong of Trafalgar, IN, Aliza Sims of Franklin, IN, Gemma Armstrong of Trafalgar, IN, Haddie Armstrong of Trafalgar, IN and Lyla Grace Newton of Las Vegas, NV; his grandson-in-law Tim Tucker of Franklin, IN; and his siblings, Faye Welborn of Anderson, IN and Earl Newton (Susan) of Anderson, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
