He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie and Lena Waltz (Coy); his wife E. Irene Waltz (Robinette); his daughter Karen Sue Waltz; and his siblings, Lyle Waltz, Gladys Jean Pruitt, Vernon "Cigar" Waltz, Dean Waltz, Schearrel Waltz, Wendell Waltz and Dwight Waltz.
He is survived by: his children, Bev Waltz of Greenwood and Joe Waltz (Kim) of Trafalgar; his grandchildren, Jenny Matthews (Josh), Rachel Wheat (Billy), Nick Watkins (Erin), Ashley Sisson (Brad), Amanda Hackett (Anthony), Angie Bowling (Justin) and Jake Waltz (Whitnie); his great grandchildren, Becca Watkins, Taylor Riley (Joe), Trinity Goforth, Tadeum Goforth, Braedyn Matthews (Haleigh), Gavin Matthews, Jeremiah Carter, Emma Bowling, Lincoln Watkins, Maverick Sisson, Ryker Prairie, Lila Watkins, Hudson Waltz, Kennedy Bowling, Mason Hackett, Willow Waltz, Landon Hackett, Morgan Hackett, Brooke Hackett and Taylor Hackett; his great great grandchild Dakota Watkins; and his siblings, Rheta Cook (Herb) of Trafalgar and Herschell Waltz of Trafalgar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
