He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bowling and Lois Bowling (Gross); his son Michael Bowling; and his siblings, Jerry, Kenneth, Betty, Wilma and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Bowling; his daughter Lindsey Asher (David); his siblings, Jimmy, Robbie Bowling and Barbara Brock; and his granddaughters, Druella Asher and Emily Bowling.
