It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alta Lancaster of Trafalgar, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Sutton and Florence Ethel Sutton (Cockerham); her husband Walter E. Lancaster; her siblings, Walter, Bob, Jim Sutton, Alice Roberts, Edythe Larrison, Alberta Chew and Helen Carr; and her grandson Josh Sweeny.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Waltz (Ed) of Trafalgar and Ed Lancaster (Teresa) of Trafalgar; her half-sister Kay Sheek (Bill) of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Anthony Joslin, Jill Smith (Justin), Jason Lancaster, Heather Griffin (Jeff), Megan Zimmerman and Monica Carrol (Charles). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
