He was predeceased by: his son James; and his son-in-law Bill Van Voorhies. He is survived by: his wife Lois Sherman; his daughters, Jo Ann Van Voorhies and Virginia Sheikh (Mehrdad); and his grandson Steven Miller (Linda). He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
