She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John L. Pitts and Betty Davis (Bingham); her husband Ronnie Short; her sons, Robert Bevins of Ligonier, Michael Bentley of Cromwell and Shane Jackson (Diana) of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Derek Michael Bentley, Brian Mitchell Bentley, Olivia Danielle Reidenbach, Kanisha Lee Bevins, Chanise Kayleen Bevins, Michaela Hazel Bevins, Heather Stephenson, Marissa Andrade, Jace Jackson, Tracie Romero, Dalton Stiver and Hailey McCallister; her siblings, Diane Dixon of Kentucky, Tommy Pitts of Norfolk, Leslie Pitts of Minerva, John Pitts of Minerva and Jim Pitts of Minerva, Ohio.; her son Shawn Allen Bevins; and her sisters, Carolyn Hyden and Molly Owsley.
