With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Mae Frey of Topeka, Indiana, born in Lagrange, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Hostetler and Lizzie Hostetler (Schrock); her husband John William Frey; her siblings, Anna Miller, Mary Etta Eash, Mabel Mast, Frieda Raber, Nina Hostetler, Eldon, David and Daniel Hostetler; and her grandson Christian Frey.
She is survived by: her children, Lizzie Ellen Wingard (Wilbur) of Topeka, Kenneth Frey (Joan) of Goshen, Leonard Frey (Erma) of Shipshewana, Elvie Frey (Clara) of Shipshewana, Mahlon Frey (Cathy) of Topeka, Dan Frey of LaGrange and Maynard Frey of Goshen; and her siblings, Orpha Miller of Arcola, IL, Lizzie Ann Lehman of Goshen, Leah Fern Hostetler of Shipshewana and Lavern Hostetler of Anderson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, one great great-grandson, seven step great great-grandchildren.
