He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Ross and Cordie Cogar (Cadle); his children, Burl Cogar and Connie Tringes; his great grandchild Victoria Vliet; and his siblings, Ivy Bigler, Evelyn Friend, Leona Green and Denver Cogar.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Cogar (Renee) of Mansfield and Susie Rush (Douglas) of Topeka, Indiana; and his brother Larry Cogar of Mansfield, Ohio. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
