He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Baird and Martha Baird (Findling); his parents-in-law, Glen Ryan and Georgia Ryan; his brother Richard Baird; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Ryan and Beverly Baird; his nephew Richard Ryan; his niece LaRonda Ison; and his former wife Judy Baird (Ryan).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Baird (Starkey); his children, Carol Jo Christenberry (Steve) of Atlanta, Greg Warren Baird (Amy) of Atlanta and Brent Ryan Baird of Atlanta; his stepson David Fidler II of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Stephanie Polley (Seth), Kyle Baird, Laura Gonzalez (Rob) and Emily Christenberry; his stepgrandchildren, Greta, Nate, Owen Fishback, Allerdyce and Neve Fidler; his great grandchildren, Madilyn, Lia Villars, Aiden Baird, Lyla and Gwyneth Gonzalez; his brothers, Allen Baird (Rachel), Leon Baird (Jackie) and Mark Baird (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Garry Ryan (Mickey), Butch Starkey (Linda), John Starkey (Carol), Bob Starkey (Kathy) and Nita Warren (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
