She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Barnes and Pauline Barnes (Weston); her sons, Jim Beard and Jerry Parson; and her former husband Robert K. Parson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gaiser (Mark), Kenneth Parson (Jessica) and Sherry Melton (J. D.) of Tecumseh, Missouri; her sister Gena Hurst of Tipton; and her grandchildren, Amanda Parson, Angela Pontious, Roni Myers, Kenny Parson, Jessica and Corinna.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Sharpsville Cemetery.
