He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl and Mary Louise Sottong (Clark); his daughter-in-law Missie; and his siblings, Janet Burkhart, Bud and Russell Sottong.
He is survived by: his wife Judy K. Bowers; his children, Becky Dobbins (Len) of Noblesville, Rick Sottong of Tipton and Greg Sottong (Kim) of Tipton; his grandchildren, Erik, Blake Ragan, Tyler Sottong, Shelbie Sottong, Mallorie Sottong, Abby Asmus, Tucker Shelton, Ali Sottong, Lauren Carroll and Erin Zervas; his sisters, Judy Martin (Keith) of Tipton and Karen Brown (Vic) of Tipton; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Sottong, Linda Sottong, Rose Rushin, Ann Powell and Linda Tragesser.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tipton County 4-H Fair Board for facility improvements; 1200 S. Main Street.
