He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Abbott and Leola Abbott (Parry); his wife Linda Abbott; and his siblings, Linda Hamm and Rex Abbott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimie Bell (Chuck) of Tipton and Lee Ann Martz of Elwood; his siblings, Mike Abbott (Mary) of Elwood and Michelle Scholl (Trent Hicks) of Elwood; his grandchildren, Meghan Yocum, Martin Yocum (Hannah), Chris Bell (Alexis) and Madelyn Bell; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Yocum and Gabriel Yocum. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and several nieces, newphews, and good friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Shepard Food Pantry in Tipton.
