Nancy J. Mathews Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy J. Mathews of Tipton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Erwin and Margaret Elizabeth Boyer (Mahoy); her spouse Bennie Lee Mathews; her sisters, Judith Kay Linton and Janet Sue Sipe; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Sipe and Vincent FitzSimons.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Mathews (Jo Ann) of Thorntown, Jayne Mathews-Sheets (Jeffrey) of Lebanon, Allison Calvin (Jeff) of Atlanta and Charlotte Hancock (Darryl) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Nichole Walston, Brad Mathews, Patricia Chester, Darren Mathews, Nick Mathews, Wesley Hancock, Travis Hancock, Chantel Calvin and Kyle Mathews; and her sister Connie Jean FitzSimons of Lafayette. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
