He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Frederick Bridgewater and Lola Belle Bridgewater (Pound); his wife Virginia Bridgewater (Knight); and his brother Marvin Bridgewater. He is survived by: his former wife Clara Kathleen Sellers; his children, Kimala Bridgewater of Tipton, Kirk Bridgewater of Palm Springs, CA and Kristi (David); his grandchildren, Kory Overly and Dylan Overly; his nephew Randy Bridgewater; his niece Marcia Bode; his friends, Bill and Claira Ayers; and his close friend Shirley Moore.
