She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Ward and Cleo A. Ward Hamilton (Wood); her close friend Dick Gephart; her daughter Joy Monroe-England; her stepfather Jesse Hamilton; and her grandson Richard Eaton.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Monroe, Eric Monroe and Tina Marie Monroe of Tipton; her brothers, Ronnie Ward (Jean) and Mendon (Larry Ward); and her grandchildren, Jesse Monroe (Miguel), Whitney Monroe, Jennie Monroe-Pieper (Scott), Shiloh Tolbert (Mat), William Cole Wells (Stephanie) and Kaylee England.
