She was predeceased by: her husbands, Raymond Purvis (Cotton) and George A. Johnson (Jack); her parents, John Calvin Langley and Elizabeth Langley (Nienaber); and her siblings, Paul Langley, Donald Langley, Ralph Langley, Marie Letsinger, Nina Henry and Gertrude Tragesser.

She is survived by: her children, David Purvis (Judi), Dan D. Purvis (Sue), Rick Johnson, Randy Johnson, Marcia Johnson (Ramona Wolf) and Debby McNew Bennington; her grandchildren, Michael D. Purvis, Jonathan Purvis, Steven Doughty, Kathleen Sapio, Brad Purvis, Danielle Carroll, Tonya Purvis, Terry Whitehead, Jeff Whitehead, Amy Lucas and Curtis Wolf; and also, Sophie Purvis, Joshua Purvis, Abi Purvis, Emma Doughty, Riley Purvis, Haylee Carroll, Ryan Carroll, Jordan Purvis, Julian Purvis, Dean Cooper, Michelle Cooper, Patrick Whitehead, Brenden Whitehead, Chris Whitehead, Andrew Whitehead, Trent Lucas, Dylan Lucas, Connor Lucas and Savannah Lucas.
