Jean Ellen Hobbs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Ellen Hobbs (Tipton, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olas Quakenbush and Anna Mae Quakenbush (Adams); and her siblings, Catherine Fewell (Ray) and John Quakenbush. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Fettig (Jeff), Scott Hobbs (Lisa) and Mindy Hobbs (JoAnn Flora); her grandchildren, Anne-Elise Lansdown, Jay Fettig, John Hobbs and Lauren Decker; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Quakenbush. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (418 Fairview Ave, Tipton, IN 46072).
