He was predeceased by: his father Jack Keith Porter; his uncles, Richard Porter and Pat Saxton; his aunt Dorothy Porter; his brother Jace Kevin Porter; and his grandparents, Clarence, Doris Porter, Gail and Geneve Saxton.
He is survived by: his mother Anna Mae Porter; his children, Lisa Guy, Chris Johns, Jean Mott Johns, Thomas Porter, Krysta Paquette and Daniel Porter; his grandchildren, Alexander Guy, Jacob Guy, Drew Porter, Logan Porter, Alex Paquette, Tori Ann Porter, Brianna Porter, Elizabeth Guy, Emileen Johns, Hailey Johns and Taylor Whann; his wife Margie Porter; his siblings, Kim Porter and Jack Porter; and his cousins, Doris Moore, Carletta, Richard Hartzog, Steve, Jodie Porter and Mike Porter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jay's honor to the American Cancer Society.
