He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Paikos and Sophia Paikos (Nicholaithou); his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Ann Paikos; his sister Tene Cheronis (Art); his brother-in-law Dean Sotiriou; and his daughter-in-law Gladys Paikos.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Sarantos; his children, Nick Paikos (Christine) of Tipton, Georgia Schwoeppe (John) of Fishers and Dean Paikos of Carmel; his grandchildren, Grace Wright (Randy) of Reno, Isaiah Paikos (Amanda), Sarah Paikos of Bloomington, Phillip Schwoeppe of Carmel, Gregory Schwoeppe of Carmel, Dimitri of Carmel, Yianni of Carmel and Sophia Paikos of Carmel; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Henry Wright; his sister Syrma Sotiriou; and his sister-in-law Toula Sarantos. He is also survived by cousins in Greece, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3500 W. 106th Street, Carmel, Indiana 46302. Please, no flowers due to severe allergies in the family.
