Whisler of Tipton, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray V. Whisler and Bonnie "Edith" Whisler (Jolliff); his former wife Donna Jones; his siblings, Lucile Avery, Bill Whisler, James Whisler, Clifford Whisler, Virgil Whisler, Helen Darlene Whisler and Charles Whisler; and his grandson Benjamin Jacob Whisler.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Lockwood (Garst); his children, Michael Whisler (Connie) of Muncie, Ronald Whisler (Joann) of Hayward, Mark Whisler (Lesley) of Muncie and Darlene Tragesser (Douglas) of Atlanta; his stepchildren, Paula King (Jim), Melissa Bowen (Phil), Warren Lockwood, Bonnie Carlson (Michael), Teresa Dickerson (Denny) and Dana Lockwood (Allyson); and his sisters-in-law, Georgina Whisler of Elwood and Ramona Whisler of Elwood. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
