He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Merrill and Goldie Merrill (Teter); his wife Dorothy Ann Williams; his children, Greg Merrill and Deb Getz; his grandchildren, Rachel Schwaller (Jerry), Rebecca Oswalt (Ryan), Andrew Merrill, Nick Netherton (Mandy), Kyle Netherton, Kristi Rankin (Jake), Corey Merrill and Shelby Merrill; his great grandchildren, Urban Schwaller, Lydia Schwaller, Ryland Oswalt, Lilian Oswalt, Eva Oswalt, Rory Merrill, Luke Netherton and Grayson Netherton; his brother Don Merrill (Janice); his son Charles Douglas Merrill (Patty); and his siblings, Marjorie Saxton, Robert Merrill, Martha Nelson, William Merrill and Myron Merrill. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
