He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Smith and Nellie Mae Smith (DeLong); and his siblings-in-law, Kelly Burton and Sue Haskett. He is survived by: his wife Maryln Torr; his mother-in-law Betty Torr; his siblings-in-law, Tom Torr (Carla) of Baton Rouge, LA, Linda Burton of Jacksonville, FL and Roxanne Ward (Jay) of Clayton, OH; and his pet Merlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
